Mini Skinnystar rating 5MPJanuary 23, 2012Compact and convenient - love it
Mini Skinnystar rating 5BrandonNovember 1, 2011I went to numerous stores looking for a thin wallet and couldn't find one without an oversized logo, huge metal clip, or magnet. Thankfully, I found the mini skinny and it was exactly what I wanted. Thin, efficient, and sturdy. It has space for 6+ cards and cash, although I usually carry only 2 cards and maybe a paper bill or two. I love the way this wallet fits comfortably and securely in my front or back pocket without creating a huge buldge or adding inches to my seated height.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Brock WappesOctober 26, 2011Honestly have nothing bad to say about this wallet. I could not be happier with it. It does exactly what I need it to and fits perfectly in my pocket. I will forever be purchasing from Big Skinny = )
Mini Skinnystar rating 4Brandon ASeptember 9, 2011I really like the wallet. Much less bulk than my previous leather tri-fold. Hands down happy, but would be even happier if the bill fold had a spare key hideaway. That would make it a 100% replacement.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Todd NewkirkAugust 9, 2011This little wallet is amazing. It has no trouble holding my essentials and more. I keep about 6 thick plastic cards and 5 or 6 thin loyalty cards along with 4-5 bills at any given time. If I carried much more than this it would be enough space, but as a minimalist card holder this is perfect!
Mini Skinnystar rating 4Xavier MatosJuly 15, 2011This thing takes up almost no space and helps me carry all my essentials around
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Floyd MarinescuJuly 5, 2011I've been looking far and wide for a wallet like this. It truly is the most efficient wallet ever. It's way more resilient and smaller than the leather equivalent from Brookstone or Danier, and unlike the coach version (which is too short to fit cash) this one is perfect for me to carry my license, 6 cards AND cash in the inner pocket. I love this Wallet!
Mini Skinnystar rating 5HeatherMay 20, 2011This is perfect for carrying my ID, credit cards, and cash. I was concerned that it wouldn't fit in the pockets of ladies' pants (like most wallets) but it does perfectly! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Mini Skinnystar rating 4JenApril 28, 2011I bought this wallet a while ago (at least 2-3 years), and still use it. It's thinner than anything else I've ever had (or will ever have, I imagine), extremely durable, and a GREAT wallet. My only negative comment is the zippered pocket is fairly unforgiving outside of a few coins, and the zipper comes undone by itself sometimes. Then again I don't imagine people are buying this to carry a handful of change! Big Skinny notes: this model's zippered compartment is definitely designed for minimalist change carrying. Some of our larger size models have more robust change carrying capabilities such as the trixie, the taxicat, the executive, the monte cougar, the lynx etc.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5HarmonyMarch 2, 2011This wallet is great. I'm more of a Dave Ramsey kind of girl, so I mainly pay with cash. Likewise, my Mini Skinny Card Holder has 3 cards in the front ID pocket, 5 cards total in the back pockets, and 31 bills, individually folded in half, inside the center storage pocket. It would be great if Big Skinny could make the center storage pocket expand a little more, accordion style, for example, for members of the cash-carrying community who like tiny, non-traditional wallets :-)
Mini Skinnystar rating 5geoFebruary 12, 2011nice wallet, fits good in my jeans.i will buy more in the future.thanks for making this wallet.no more bulky wallets for me.
Mini Skinnystar rating 4Michael DonahueJanuary 7, 2011Overall its fine, but is the hole in the window/plastic necessary? I put a picture in there that will ultimately become marred in that exposed area. I wanted the skinny wallet to replace an older version but the raised rubberized logo is somewhat self defeating and creates width and a non-flat surface. I also have a big skinny product idea that is patent protected so speaking to somebody who may be in product development and have knowledge of protection and an NDA agreement would be useful to speak to. Big Skinny notes: we put that hole to make it easier to slide out your ID with your thumb.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5PamJanuary 6, 2011I didn't know that I could use something smaller than my Metro wallet, but the mini skinny is perfect for going out and only carrying the essentials. I love it!
Mini Skinnystar rating 5RitaOctober 20, 2010a mini card holde doesn't mean that don't holds a lot of cards, bills and IDs. And this one is free of weight. Thanks to my boyfriend! Cheers!
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Henry SavelliAugust 17, 2010It's perfect! I'm on and off commuter rails, subways, and buses all day every day, and my mini skinny makes it very easy to flash my T passes or IDs. I also have one of your wallets. I'll be back for more.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5JasonAugust 15, 2010I was looking to replace my leather front pocket wallet. I came across the big skinny site and am glad I did. I looked at and read reviews on several of the wallets but decided on the Mini Skinny. It is exactly what I was looking for. I have 3 IDs in the clear front, 3 credit/debit cards in the other pockets, as well as several business and insurance cards. It holds all of this nicely along with about 10 bills. For everyday use, it carries all of the essentials and still manages to be very small and thin. Great wallet
Mini Skinnystar rating 5robmercier00August 5, 2010Have been looking for a small, slim wallet for quite a while, and had pretty much given up on finding what I really wanted. Then, out of the blue, I find BigSkinny, and it looks like they've plugged into my brain and made a wallet based on all the tidbits contained therein. The Mini Skinny is mini alright! No frills, no bells, no whistles, just a small, compact place to carry cards, IDs and a few other etceteras. I'v e got the equivalent of about 8 cards in mine, and it's holding up perfectly. If this thing ever gives out, I'm buying another one right away.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5MarkJuly 23, 2010Seems like it can hold a lot more, but I use it for a few cards, ID and some bills folded up. With that, it is very thin and does not show in front pocket of slim-fitting chinos, suit jacket, etc. Also use it as a great mini-wallet for the beach. Nice feel to fabric -- hoping it lasts a long time.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5MikeJuly 7, 2010Holds half a dozen cards, and a dozen bills (anything more than that and it gets hard to put your money back in the wallet). I like that it doesn't seem to stretch and doesn't stick to the inside of your pocket when you pull it out. Great wallet.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Bryan HinkleJune 24, 2010I transitioned from my former fat leather wallet to the Leather Hybrid Multi-Pocket, and bought the Mini-Skinny for travel and working out. But now I use the Mini Skinny most often. I found that when I travel I really only use a small number of cards, and I carry very little cash. Having a slim wallet in your pocket for a 5-hour flight is great. Instant, easy access to my ID and primary credit card is convenient. Cash is almost hidden within. 8 bucks? I've played with other "thin" wallets for a lot more $$ that simply don't come close to this design. So simple, but so smart. Super durable. You might think that you cannot get by with such a small wallet, but you really can...and you can't go wrong for the price. My wife owns the zippered version, and that is all she carries when she shops.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5AJDJune 1, 2010I am a woman who travels - a lot - and need a quick way to store one CC, ID a tiny bit of cash and my insurance card - that's it. I've had it for about a year and absolutely love it for my day or overnight trips through the airports/cabs etc. I'm back to buy two more as gifts - I love it.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5BobMay 15, 2010Small and complete. Couldn't be better!
Mini Skinnystar rating 5MattMay 8, 2010Perfect for work - no bulk!
Mini Skinnystar rating 5Paul BApril 27, 2010Knew I needed a wallet and started to look about 2 months ago. I was very disappointed to see that after 30 years of carrying a wallet, nothings changed. Still the same basic designs. When I ran across the mini skinny I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. About a week after ordering it, I got a small package. I thought, who was sending me a CD. After looking at who it was from, I then thought they forgot to put the wallet in the envelope. After opening up the envelope I knew there was no way this thing would work, but would give it a try. I've been carrying it now for a few weeks and couldn't be happier with it. I can't believe how small and light it is. It carries everything my old wallet did without the bulk. The only problem is I keep checking my back pocket. I'm use to a big bulky wallet and keep thinking it's fallen out. It never does, but it feels like my back pocket is empty by comparison. Cant wait til Christmas, I know what to give to my brothers this year.
Mini Skinnystar rating 5AaronMarch 23, 2010Just received this wallet. I usually only carry a few cards, ID, bus pass, and a few bills. This wallet is perfect for all that. It can be a little tricky if you're carrying a lot of cash but if you only ever have 5-6 bills on you, it's workable. The quality is excellent. Really nice workmanship.
