Well, I am pleasantly surprised because it holds all my cards, medical, gas, credit, AAA, etc. It is very thin and I am very pleased. I recommend this wallet to anyone who wants a thinner wallet

I don't know how this compares to a non hybrid but its much thinner then my regular wallet. I just literally transferred all my cards (18) from my old leather Geoffery Beene to my new Hybrid and it's about 30% thinner. I may even buy a regular BigSkinny non hybrid just to see how that compares. I love it.

Even with everything from my old wallet in this new one, it's still at least as thin as my old wallet is empty. It certainly appears to be extremely well made but only time will really tell. I just got it today - just 3 days after ordering it. As per other reviews I expect it to last a good long time.

I have purchased several of the regular material wallets over the years so I wanted to try this one. I must say I'm a bit disappointed. In just a few weeks of carrying the wallet, the leather has begun to peel off. It doesn't hurt the function, but i expected it to be more durable. I will not purchase another leather hybrid in the future if this is to be expected. A couple things that takes the wallet down a star is that there was glue inside from manufacturing so my cards and what not tend to stick to the fabric for the first couple weeks. Also the leather isn't quite as supple as it looks in the pictures. The wallet is thin and is small and fits nicely in front or back pocket. Im not disappointed.

Doesn't sound like much, but it is! Only issue is with 7 bills, edges are at wallet edge. Even 1/32" would make a difference. Regardless, it's outstanding & functional. Big Skinny notes: we designed it so the bills are flush thus making the overall surface area of the wallet as small as possible. If you need more height, our regular bifold is the better choice.

I've had my big skinny now for 1 year and it looks just as good as when I bought it. Love the leather, love the skinny nylon and extra-wide pockets. Have about 15 plastic cards, 7 business cards, a few receipts and bills and I still have to check my pockets to make sure it's there. Best wallet I have ever owned in my entire life (33 years).

Unfortunately Big Skinny's Sport Bi-Fold wallet falls short in every aspect. This is my experience with the wallet. First of all, both the customer service and the shipping times were horrendous. The site's layout is like that of a late night infomercial trying to sell you yet another piece of crap you don't need. Regardless, I was still excited to receive my wallet and after close to a month, I received the wallet. When I received the wallet I quite liked the way it was shipped. No fuss and the packaging was great. You can tell that real leather was used as it has that leather smell. Unfortunately it's also evident that the leather has been meddled with at the tannery due to the wallets shiny look and cheap feel. On the plus, if you like wallets that are super thin then you may like this thing because it delivers in that aspect. I think the inside microfibre of the wallet looks terribly cheap and feels as if you are a kid in the playground who is carrying his first wallet around. It does manage to keep the wallet super thin, but it's cheap and feels flimsy. One of the best thing's about a man's wallet is that it should be sturdy, strong, and reflect his personality and uniqueness. Us blokes don't carry around much and I guarentee if your planning on taking that special girl out to dinner she isn't going to be impressed to see a flimsy, cheap looking nylon wallet come out of your pocket when you front the bill. The ID window looks cheap and the stiching around the leather is terrible & poor quality. With my cards inside, and some cash it turned out to feel and look just as cheap. Don't fall victim to marketing hype. Buy a wallet that will reflect on your personality, your traits and something that doesn't scream " I'm a cheap bastard ". Seriously, what woman has ever been impressed at " Oh, honey look at how small and thin it is". A real bloke needs his wallet to look like a wallet and not something to hold a young childs canteen money. Big Skinny sacrifices quality to create their thin wallets. The customer service was unable to tell me whether Australian currency would fit in the wallet I was ordering. Considering the fact they are a wallet company, you would think that customer service might know these things, especially if they wanted to expand to an international market. Would not even provide me the dimensions on the wallet and referred me back to the site for dimensions. I believe that Big Skinny has a couple of great wallets to offer, they just need to revamp their products and their image. Best of luck for the future guys, I hope you will consider what I have written and may your company continue to grow and improve. Big Skinny notes: wow, thanks for taking the time to write all that. To address some of the points: 1) delivery--one can see on the envelope stamp that we shipped on the day ordered and most airmail orders arrive to Australian addresses within 1 week. 2) quality--sounds like some of the issues brought up are more about personal taste as we are the only wallet maker who applies double-edge stitching which makes our wallets tough enough to machine wash which is why we make the premier sports wallets in the world. Our ID pocket is especially reinforced for that purpose--compare to regular wallets whose id pockets rip out very quickly--ours never do and if they ever do, we stand behind our wallets with a warranty which no other wallet company even offers. 3) Our wallets are built to solve the top 5 wallet problems, especially thickness as size does matter when one looks at the line of one's trousers, we try to eliminate the wallet. 4) As for customer service not knowing if Aussie dollars fit, well, with so many countries and so many unique currency sizes, that's why we have all our wallet's physical dimensions clearly marked on each model's webpage.

But all lacked quality or space for my numerous cards ( i carry about 10 cards and 10-15 bills at any given time ) this wallet had everything i wanted. I prefer the leather shell as it looks more professional. I highly recommend this wallet to anyone.
