I keep moving my stuff back and forth cause I couldn't believe it. Big skinny is literally half the size. with my stuff in it, my wife and I measured both filled. what a difference. don't let this company ever go out of business, they are saving our butts!

Bummer! I thought I found a thin wallet for him, guess not. Big Skinny notes: not sure what previous wallet you were comparing but physics is physics, our nylon microfiber is .21mm thin compared to full leather and our nylon microfiber does all the work in the leather series, the thin top grain leather is only on the outside. We've never a full leather wallet that was even close to being as thin of either our full nylon or leather hybrid series. Please send us pics etc. for research purposes.

Much thinner than other wallets I've had. Very comfortable to have in pocket and when sitting down! Great value for the price.

Leather Hybrid L-Shapestar rating 4TerryAugust 21, 2011I got my new L shaped, Leather Hybrid Wallet because my old Tri-fold leather wallet had just become too thick and was uncomfortable to carry in my pocket. My new wallet is definitely thinner and looks pretty good. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to put folding bills in. If the design was modified to make it slightly deeper and wider it would be perfect. Overall I'm a satisfied customer.

My first wallet i purchased at americade in new york my second i ordered on line , had i know ther were going to be at americade again this year i would have waited . but i do love them anyway and when this one need to be replaced i will again order a big-skinny. I used to carry two leather wallets that were well made but bulky and not comfortable to carry in my rear pockets. The L Trifold is my favorite; it carries the same number of credit cards/cash/gift cards as my old wallet but at almost half the thickness.

My thoughts…the money area could be a bit deeper. Meaning the entire wallet could be a ½” or so wider. When I flip open the wallet to pull a bill, “BAM” there’s the cash for all to see. My other leather bi-folds were much wider and therefore deeper. Finally, I was expecting to see more card holders. I’ve had to double up on most slots with more than 1 card to get everything inside. Still satisfied.

I finally chose the Leather Hybrid L-Shape Wallet because it exactly matched the requirements I was looking for; thinness, great comfort and of course, plenty of space for cards, cash and even pics of the family and grandkids!! Recently, some years later, I ordered another on on-line. Your service, then as now, was outstanding, delivery was FAST and I am hooked on BIG SKINNY.
Leather Hybrid L-Shapestar rating 3J RubinJuly 27, 2010Nice wallet.............but two problems forces me to take away two stars. The size of the ID pockets are too small. You can't read name, number or account number unless you take out the card from the pocket-and it can be hard to remove because the card will stick to the plastic. Second star is lost because the plastic ID pockets stick together when trying to open the wallet. Otherwise a good wallet Big Skinny notes: we make the id pockets extra tough with extra nylon linng the perimeter which does tend to obscure certain id items. In the summertime or in humidity, many clear id pockets (in all wallets not just ours) tend to stick a bit even when the id pockets face each other as in this model.

The leather is very thin and makes it look less cheap than the nylon version. It may look small but it's big enough to hold US currency. I had to air it out a little before giving it to my boyfriend because it had a weird chemical smell similar to mothballs but it smelled like leather after a few days. This is great for guys who have a large amount of cards and want to have a thinner wallet in their pocket.

And did I mention it was about 1/2 as thin and light as any of those old style wallets...
